Boat launch on Anglesey

I have just wandered round the side of my garage and found a rib boat ! Yes it's been that long . We had it serviced a year or more back and have only managed one outing in it since.

My mother is not well and lives on Anglesey so I am going to be doing a fair few journeys from Derbyshire over the next few months . I am heading up this Friday .
A couple of questions

Do you know a suitable launch site near a campsite ?

Is there anyone on the island that could give the engine the once over

We may or may not get time to use it and if we do it won't be for long and we may get a couple of short runs so tethering would be good .

Chris at Ty Calch is your man, not quite on Anglesey, but close enough. Also plenty of camping in the area.

Alternatively try here: https://www.themarineclub.com

Likely more expensive but on Anglesey and will save the 40min round trip to Ty Calch if you're on Anglesey.

ABC marine do storage and tractor launch like the above too. They're in Beaumaris.

All three are on the Menai Strait.

Thanks I will speak to Chris and take a look at your options . We don't have to stay on Anglesey and will try to use the camper where possible to give us more flexibility . We will be spending more time at Bangor as things evolve than on Anglesey me thinks .

Porth Daniel would suit if you're in Bangor!

It's also right by the pubs, restaurants and in a sheltered area to launch.
