Hi there, its funny how a lot of people stick with the same make of boat from small to big, anyway yer Avon seariders are very seaworthy craft especially from the 6 meter up range with the nice seagoing deep vee, although more attention i feel should of been taken on the consul and layout of the boats, but thats all down to opinion and taste etc, but all in all a big thumbs up for sea keeping.

I've noticed a lot of people seem to stick to Seariders (myself included). Personally it's the industrial build quality, seriously heavy duty look and seakeeping that I love about them.
I'd never expect to find a champagne chiller on one-but then I wouldn't expect to find someone who was likely to want champagne onboard.

If it's good, buy it

Yer cant fault the searider for handling in a choppy sea, the sr6 has a nice deep hull, deeper than the 5.4 i believe. The only thing i wish they done though was redesign that terrible consul.

Should be out on her next week-I'm still sorting odds and bits out. Nothing major, just things how I like them. Should have 160 litres fuel capacity by next weekend

The searider is a great boat.....nearly went for one.

There was one on Loch Lomond being used as the rescue boat until the middle of last year, with twin 90hp..

I had seen it close up, when a mate's boat broke down. This one was great, very business like. They were selling it, but I don't know if it would still be available.

Cheers

Bob,

Well done. I still say doesn't matter what RIB you buy. Any RIB is a good RIB if it gets you on the water so you can have fun.
