Age

I think it must be quite old as my first one had the same stainless transom suppports and a guy at Avon told me they had stopped using the ages ago .That was about 8 yaers ago ! My wife fell onto one of the bolts sticking up from the floor and had a 10mm hole in her knee for ages !

Ouch.

The sea cadets near me have one with the transom supports, and it's actually in quite good nick for it's age. Guess it all depends on what it's done, where it's been etc.

I have one of those. Mine is probably older than that and is well worn but it still seems quite sturdy.

Also given how much some RIBs are priced at, thats quite a fair price.

Obviously I might change my mind if I saw it.

As with everything a viewing is a must.

Plus the achilles heel of any boat like that is the engine. Whats going on the back of it ?

Other small rib prices

I have been looking at a smaller rib that has been offered to me- its about 4.8m a Narwhal I think - on a trailer with a lightly used late 90's Yamaha 60 2 stroke - any idea what I should be paying for this?
