Just out of curiosity, What is the value of 'Never Enough' in this specification?

And how much fuel have they used so far?

Looks to be no AIS again so far today.

Steve

I have not made any calculations but will have a price early July as there are two parties already interested in the purchase of this rib. The price will be fixed and no Dutch auction.

as for AIS then the problem is that in that particular area AIS is not being received as the rib is "out of range". Hopefully today they will be in range so we can track them.

Andre, it was more of a general query of value for this spec (so 750 with 320 diesel, ais, and all the other toys) rather than for this actual boat.

Steve, there are a lot of toys and Simrad. StructureScan, NSS 12 viewer (touch screen) RS35 VHF/AIS radio, Sonic Hub for on board entertainment, broadband depth sounder with P79 transducer, AIS for transmitting which I had installed only the week before last and this was not cheap. I am very pleased I had this installed as it is a good tracker when in range.

Some nice toys, and some I want to add at some point... StructureScan, Sonic Hub, and AIS transponder are a few....

The AIS transmission has been received. It cuts across country in a straight line from the last signal to the next received one

Recorded speed 23 knots. I guess they must have some mist or sight seeing

Leg 6 17 June 2014

The AIS was out of range for most of the beginning of the passage. I have added manually the route in red

they have successfully reach their destination ie Fraserburg. I do not know as yet how long it took but the distance was 200 Nm

The Team is on track to complete the Challenge in time

Four more days and the last day is only a 50 Nm run

Nigel the Team leader tells me that they had a smooth passage around the top of Scotland. They had a NW slight winds and a following sea.

For the first couple of hours the weather was terrible with dense fog so they put the radar to good use. It took them 8 hours and 38 minutes to complete leg 6. Not bad and well done to the Team.

Leg 7 18 June 2014 Fraserburgh to Whitby

The Team have just left Fraserburgh heading for Whitby a distance of 200 Nm

I have attached a photo taken yesterday of the Parker rib in Fraserburgh and two photos showing the Parker 750 Baltic departing Fraserburgh

the company Wolf Shock mitigation system will deliver to the Team when the get to Whitby a custom made shock mitigation matting for the twin man jockey seats. The last three legs will no doubt be more gentle for the crew. I arranged this with Mike Smith the Director of Wolf Shock at Seawork last week.

I am also looking forward to testing this flooring during the Round IOW for Macmillan
