New Title - surely anyone with 200+ posts must be a "SAD MEMBER".

500+ posts - clearly unemployed.

Hi there

Stealth said:

ps Keith... get a larger RIB, have a look at the Ribtec, first up on 'Used Boats for Sale' on this web-site!

WHAT! Have you not read the post about GPS? You've no idea how difficult it has been to persuade The Boss to let me spend a couple of weeks food shopping money on the GPS.... and you suggest a new rib!!!

Okay but to be serious (oh, must we?).

I've had my little boat for 12 months now. What fantastic fun I've had pottering about the Moray Firth etc. I have wanted a boat for YEARS, and now I've got one, albeit small. Now, do I want a bigger one? No, I can honestly say, not yet. I'm learning all the time, and thoroughly enjoying it. Expanding my envelope (as it was called in another post 'Inshore'). I don't need a trailer and I enjoy the flexibility of being able to see a nice bay or cove and being able to launch as I please. I don't need a slipway etc. Talking of slipways, take another look at www.boatlaunch.co.uk (most useful boating site on the web, along with Rib Net) you will see that there are suddenly a few more launch sites up in the Scottish Highlands - thanks to your truly, and there will be even more soon.

Now, there will come a time when I move up to our house in Scotland permanently. THEN will be the time to get a bigger boat (please don't mention this to The Boss though) when I can look after it all the time and keep it in the harbour.

Also in the meantime I feel it is my duty to keep my small boat so that there is at least one 'little' voice (great film!) on this forum.

Soon to be Senior Member (Small Boat Section) - Keith Hart

PS I've found out how to do coloured text!
And how to vary the size and font!!

I am consulting with my legal team.......

about the libellous actions of a Mr J Kennett of Brighton.

Still, at least I'm not a hairdresser!

John, Don't even think about it. The thing is to know when to STOP!
