Returnee

Hi,
Returning to the fold after a 2 yr absence, wasting time with caravans and Harleys. Visited the Motorhome show at the NEC and dropped £2800 on a Honwave 3.5 AE and 10hp Honda, soon to be seen at Hillhead on the Solent.
Just checked out some of the available mods to be done and can't wait to get started.
All the best
Norm

Hi welcome back Salvage1... what did you have when you were last here... before the Honwave?

A couple of SIBs back I had that T35AE model and still hold them in high regard. Such a roomy and stable SIB for their length.

Previous RIB

Hi Wilk
Thanks for the welcome,
My previous RIB WAS A 4.5 mt Chinnook carrying a 50 hp Tohatsu motor. Lovely old boat for a first timer. Loved it on the Solent, launched it at Warsash slip and brought it back to Meon shore where it stayed till the end of our holidays at anchor anchor buoy, even launched on that Thames near home but with 8 knots speed limit it was wasted, it was only sold to save storing it at home.
I'm looking forward to getting out with the Honwave and of course tricking it up plus a spot of fishing.
All the best
Norm

The 3.5AE is the perfect fishing SIB. The alloy floor is a great solid platform and gives a fair bit of weight low down for stability.

Hi Fenlander,
I went for the alloy floor version in the hope that extra gear or storage boxes etc could be mounted securely.
All the best
