Newbie Sydney Australia

Hi All,

Just bought a Zodiac MK11 CGT in need of repair...
Hope to get some good advice and learn a thing or two about these great little boats.

Cheers.

Welcome to Ribnet. I am in Sydney as well, south side.

If you are looking to get it done professionally, Steve at Taren Point is pretty good. He does a lot of the police, customs, rescue etc work. Quite reasonably priced e as well.

If you want to do it yourself, ask away. Just remember, some of the products available in the UK are not available here, but we have equivalents.

G'day from Queensland..state of origin winners...

Hi, Welcome. Not long here myself, heaps of information here some good do's and don'ts....
Research, research, research... ask about cleaning products before you use them or you could wake up to a puddle of your former boat.

I wouldn't notice the rain when playing around on DIGNATTY II on the Brisbane River "13 - 21 degrees" is perfect

Sydney! Pah!!!! Get a team of the states best league players send them up for a game... Oh that's right, you did. How's that working for you?
Come on up and I will show you waterways.
He who casts the first stone against Queensland.....

I saying that, I'm off the water with the big boat until mid July waiting for my new diesel engine... Into the 4.2 for me, kids...out, my turn!

I remember Sydney well. I tried to learn to fly in the 2 seconds after I fell off the flight deck of the my ship with all my diving gear on ( minus the split fin that put me into my unscheduled flying lesson..I was doing alright too!). 20+ feet of flapping your arms with twin cylinders on your back in the middle of winter and face planting or Queensland water ways..
Yes I remember sydney well!
