Not sure exactly which Seapro you are looking at, I didnt think they inported a 350 into the UK, bit worried about engine size and weight, 25hp 4 stroke on a 3.5m sib will be heavy but very fast

I can't seem to find this model on the seapro website but apparently it's rated to carry up to 8 adults and take a max outboard of 40 hp :O do you mean the 25 is to heavy for the boat or to luge about

Mainly that It's heavy to lug about.

If it says it takes s 40hp the 25hp will be fine. Daft question but are you sure its a Sib, not a rib ? 40hp on a 3.5m Sib is a very big engine

You mentioned you may be doing lots of river running, I would be guessing your speed may be restricted whilst you stick to rivers, this means you may be more likely to have problems with a big 2 stroke as opposed to a four as you may not burn off the oil , leading to running problems. Buy for what you need, you can always trade up or change if your sibbing takes a different direction
