I've seen RIBs playing up and down the rapids known as the "Falls of Lora" under the Connel Bridge, just north of Oban. They're not quite as spectacular as this. Doing it without a kill cord is pretty stupid.

The falls of Lora came to mind to me as well Mike. I've looked down off the bridge a few times over the years but always on the way further north with the boat still packed in the car so not had the SIB in the loch there.

Hi BJ I really am sorry for being a prat. Yes you certainly picked a good spot for you're hols was up there on cruise from Tayvallich a couple if yeRs ago. The Falls are great on full flow I'm sure you enjoyed the Loch as well.
