The site is ok, i went in april last year and because it was freezing it was just mainly caravans, but this time of year there should be a good mix. The facilities were fine and 2 minute walk into keswick town centre.
Hi All

New to the forum

I have just returned from that camp site after getting flooded out in the awning and i wish i had a boat with me lol .

Here is the address for the site in Keswick .

Keswick
Keswick Camping and Caravanning Club Site
Crow Park Road
Keswick
Cumbria
CA12 5EP

I would go back there next year but not in August.

Most campers on site had some form of water craft and now its got me thinking about a small rib boat for 3/4 people with a outboard motor but i dont know were to start and funds are low .

Just to be specific - some parts of the Loch have no speed limits - but others do. There are also moves afoot to try and reduce/restrict/limit camping according to today's press!

A handheld gps would do the job as well as many other jobs. I'm sure with a bit of experience you would be able to judge your speed accurately enough.
