sibbers meets trips 2012

DAY TRIPS AND CAMPING WEEKENDS FOR US SIBBERS


now the jolly season has finished and time to dust the cobwebs off the sib`s and motors

time to sort a social calendar for us sibbers

my thoughts are.

Thames meet up.
norfolk weekend camping
new forrest camping weekend iow trip
oban trip if enough interest a week or more sibbing and wild camping
medway trip

just a few idea's for you all

not really a sibber and not quite a ribber, i have a 4m rib with a 30 hp yam. i live near weymouth and would love to do portland to lulworth cove this summer about 8 miles. spot of lunch maybe a beer.

im sure you would leave all the slower sibbers behind

Think i may go down to brixham this weekend not used my boat since I got it 4 months ago only thing is the slip way is very steep, so if anyone wants to show me how it's done would be grate or if anyone can suggest anywhere else ??

I like the sound of the New Forest to Isle of Wight.

Did this a few years ago from Buckler's Hard on the Beaulieu river across to Cowes for a couple of shants and back in time for tea.
Lovely run down the river and a bit of fun crossing the Solent in a 10' Avon.
