Any update on this?
As it’s two weeks since you reported the problem with the boat.

Well I was a wee bit hard and fast with this posting I should have waited before I posted I have a very good friendship with this dealer and was having a bad day with other things as well as this and I would normally would have been completely fine with what had happened but with everything going wrong that day I slapped the post up and let my tounge lose as well I have since made amends with the dealer and sorted the problem out happy to say I got more than just my engine fixed but they have replaced it with a new engine with some extra cost from me because they upgraded to my new boat engine size 60HP but at a reasonable price happy all round as my last engine was smaller in HP we all get things wrong sometimes and this was one of them but we learn from our mistakes HH

Great news that you’ve sorted everything out with the dealer and they’ve looked after you.
Surely at 60hp you’re not staying tiller controlled anymore? Is this on the Highfield?

Oh the joy of immediate comms - I think everyone is probably guilty of it at some point.
Good news that you have it sorted.

That's the problem with the internet.
You write something in anger & it just takes the tap of a button to fire it off.
I suspect most of us have done it!

Give 'em a plug - we all too often slate people but when things go wrong is when the best dealers show their stuff.

I'm a bit confused HH... not that you owe anyone an explanation as such. I remember you were fed up with the Honwave for some reason and upgrading a few months back to a Highfield to get a hard hull. I was looking forward to reviews of the Highfield compared to a SIB as that info is a bit scarce and I do wonder if we ever went to a trailed boat if one might suit us.
So was the Highfield unsatisfactory on the water?

Hi Fenlander I have not been in the water as let and I am currently off work with back problems will hope to be in the water in the next few weeks and will write a review up so the is a comparison I have ordered the 420 as it is bigger for my requirements there would be nothing wrong with the 380 but would like the extra space to be able to sleep on them boat as well the 380 would be a wee bit cramped for that HH

So the honwave has gone, the 20 zuk had run aground that's now part ex for a 60 for the 420 what's on the 380? The 25 from the excel?
Why is the 380 not big enough to sleep in you slept great in my 365?
Sorry to hear about you back HH

Hi Jeff it was the 25HP that took the brunt still have the 20HP to be honest I can never make my mind up with what I want keep changing one day I will be happy with my choice but knowing me I do like a change [emoji23][emoji23]
The back is getting better but for my first one dame it was sore my 380 is a rigid and ready for what I want to do for distance the 420 can hold more wait and fuel plus all of my camping gear I now have a 60 ltr fuel tank from Tek tank and 30lyr in the bow front cover which should give me good range before fuel stops here's hoping hope you are enjoying the season so far and hope to see you for the sib outing or maybe on one of the Gurnard's adventure's if I am asked and can manage all the best HH
