What's the sea like today ? I was out in the hard boat from salcombe on Tuesday and went to lannacombe , I was thinking of taking the rib out of hope cove fishing with the kids today ..weather didn't look great at 6 am this morning

Very windy today and big tide not helping so haven't made it out of the estuary. Turned out sunny though

If it's a calm day ramallies cove is very nice not very wide going in but widens into a little pool in that pool you use to be able to see the guns from the ramallies sunk in a gale in the 1700s with all hands it's 2-3 mile east of hope cove take a picnic if it's nice.

Yes mate keep close in you will find it when it's flat calm and sunny no better place stop and have a brew just listening to the water lapping your hull enjoy

Very rough off the bar today so didn't make it , took the 23 ft wellcraft sport fisher out and even that was touch and go , so turned round and caught some bass in the estuary, Click image for larger version
