Waiting game!
Still waiting for the ideal window to either return to Lundy or cross the bristol channel from the exmoor coast to the porthcawl area. But it seems that every long range forecast has been deteriorating the closer we get to a weekend. Last weekend looked perfect a week ahead, as did this weekend! Basically I am looking for
Less than 8mph wind
No more than 2ft swell
No less than 8 seconds swell period
A neap tide
Tide times to suit daylight hours
Not a lot to ask for is it!
Spring tides this weekend, will try to see how far up the Torridge I can get the aerotec before we run aground. Its a stunning stretch of river above Bideford and very few go up there.
