Even if they only last four seasons at say 10 inflations per season that justifies the expense. Once inflated and out on the water and you know the boat has cooled just plug it in and inflate again. No faffing about with trying to use a stirrup pump or foot pump whilst afloat! To me the Genovo from MES-MARINE or the more expensive BRAVO is a no brainer! Go for one or t'other you won't look back.

I went for a Bravo HP. I bought a Yuasa 12Ahr battery at the price most 7Ahr sell at. Never had a problem with this set up.

This is probably the best pump I've ever touched, although it is definitely more of a commercial beater.: Hurricane-1 Dual Turbine Raft Inflator Electric Inflation Pump - Man of Rubber River Gear

At my old shop, we used these:

However, I am a big fan of the Bravo 12 HP pump. We had one in a shopping cart with a large deep cycle battery. We'd charge it every 2 weeks or so and inflate 1-2 boats per day.

FC470 has an SCBA hookup that I just use with a 25 gal air compressor.
