At long last..

Finally got the boat wet at the weekend! Me and a couple of mates camped with my little sister's family on ardwell island near gatehouse of fleet, spent saturday eve and most of sunday careering madly up and down with fixed grins.Wow how these boats handle! And so easy to beach land too.My sister kindly tested one of the gas auto lifejackets, the cost of the re-arming kit easily offset by the look of horrified bewilderment on sis's face when it went off.
Thanks to all the regulars on here,as a noob boater you have so many questions, most of which can be answered by studying old posts, but those which aren't are always answered promptly and comprehensively.
Going back working on scarp off south harris again next week,so will have chance to see how it handles lumpier water. )
