Giving my boat a face lift

New tubes are not an option so I'm ordering a new rub strake, installing several wear patches and painting the tubes. I could go with the same rub strake color or black. I thought I might go with black wear patches and a black rub strake. Or I could go with the same rub strake and try to get gray wear patches.

Other colors are not really an option as I don't want to paint the boat. How would you do it?

Please see the photo below.

I like the idea of any contrasting shade with the main tubes. So whatever you do the tubes - opposite colour with the patches and strake.

Thanks ribber, I think I agree and I appreciate the feedback. I went with black. Now I just need to find an inexpensive source for black hypalon so I can make the wear patches. Anyone have a good source? Or maybe you already know where to buy nice pre-cut patches.
