Not so fast, Duncan!

You need to have your answer "marked" before moving on to the prizegiving and awards ceremony!

Hi Richard,

I'm surprised that with your powers of search and deduction that you needed to ask what it was. All the clues needed are in the photo.

Regards

Well spotted guys - yes a Jeanneau Prestige 36!!!

Jon - well I've got the boat, but the electronics arn't fitted yet! - Thats Raymarine agents for you

So we were out in the Bristol Channel with my Trusted Icom handheld and GPS III !!!!

Back to the DSC position reporting - this is what it says in the radio brochure

Quote:
The DSC position-polling feature displays the polled position
of other DSC equipped vessels directly on the Ray240 handset
display. Interface the Ray240 to select Raymarine chartplotters
and a DSC "Pop up" alert enables you to quickly view and navigate
to another vessel's transmitted position. With DSC position polling
the location of a friend or a "digital mayday" is automatically
plotted on the chartplotter display providing enhanced safety
and easier navigation.
So I hope it does what it says on the tin

Hopefully will be finished this week..... Will post a report!
Cheers
Jools
