Has anyone changed mic on an Icom 411?

If so, how on earth do you get the old mic off? The cable appears to be glued into the main body with something akin to Sika 229.

Well, it beat me. Couldn't get near to doing it without damaging the casing so bought a new SH GX1400E, which incidentally seem to be rather cheap right now.

Not sure about the dimensional differences but if you need a 3d printed cover plate to mount and cover up any excess hole, give me a shout

Only just saw that, thanks for the offer
I ended up using a bit of black perspex to make one.
Very usefully the flush mount kit from the Icom fits the Standard Horizon as well
