Pallet Delivery to France

[Boats&Outboards]

Have a delivery going to ANDERNOS, France. Area code 33510.

It's a Honda 115hp 4 stroke Outboard which weighs lets say 220 kgs with other bits included such a pallet etc. It's going to be about 1.6m in length, 1m wide and will be about 1m high so will not come under the standard pallet dimensions.

I've tried speedshift who have quoted £400+ based on 2 pallets being charged. I found that ridiculous considering I sent one to Germany today through them which cost me £117 ??? I've also tried Kay's transport who have said £200 + VAT based on dimensions above rather than 2 pallets! Reasonable

Anybody have any cheaper options so I can save my customer some cash.

Hi Peter, have you tried palletways? ive always used them for all foriegn pallets and have found them to be the cheapest, hope it helps regards Mark

I've put it out there. Got two bids already but I think their hoping I'm going to pay for a holiday for them at £525!
