Not sure if it's jetting, a restrictor plate or a different carb altogether. This guy reckons just get the carb off a 25hp - Mercury 20 hp conversion to 25 hp Can it be done
Hi Roflhat

That's what I was thinking a carb change, I was wondering whether phoning my local mariner service shop to see if they would be able to tell me what was needed to bring the hp up.would they be reluctant to tell me as they would not be gaining any money for the information.

I looked at the links you posted Couldn't work the parts manual came up eh, etc models etc, my engine is an XD I think.

Hi Rusty

How do find the transom with the extra weight and power is it holding together or have you made transom supports. As it's over powered.

We kinda getting off topic, but yea I will pop some pics up of how the transom is built over the weekend and if I get a chance will take some footage as well, only have footage of surfing the spots not crossing our bar to get their. I'm sure Aquapro export their product but would not know to what country's

Hi all

Ventured out to Teignmouth Sunday only to be disappointed with a sick engine.First impressions of the prop was good, better hole shot and better mid range didn't get and stats for you guys as the oars had to be used.I will sort my sick baby and try the test again.

Hi all

My engine has been collected and seems there was a problem with the carb and electrics,One of the wires from the coil was broken under the shrink casing so that was replaced. Also the carb had become sticky and was flooding all stripped cleaned and fitted back on.The Digital Tach was fitted, it's like a new engine.

LET TESTING COMENCE!
Hopefully The Weekend.
