Mariner 25 hp v 30 hp weight

Hi Team Rib

Anyone know what the weight difference is between a 25 & 30 HP 2 stroke mariner?

Short shafted with tiller control and pull cord start?

Same engine, just a plate behind the carb to restrict the flow.

The spec on the 25hp you have put up, that engine went out of production in about 2008.

I know, as did all 2 strokes (for leisure use at least). As the OP said he wanted 2 stroke I'm assuming he's buying used. Had he said he's going new I'm sure he would have advised he's buying commercially, or going 4 stroke!
