Honda 60 Flushing Issue

Hi, a charity that I help out with has a couple of small ribs, one of which has a Honda 60 on the stern. When flushing out the engine in a water bath all is OK, however when I try to use muffs we fail to get a tell tale. Unfortunately I do not yet know the model or year. Has anyone similar experience of this sort of issue/know a fix? Thanks for any help.

Mufs are often not as good as a bath if it pumps a steady stream in a bath it will be fine in the water

I had the same problem with my Yamaha 40 HP. Search for double outboard flushing muffs on eBay. They inject water into both the intakes at the same time. About £16. I'm sure they will solve your problem.

Thanks all for the replies. I've now been told that the issue may well be with the water supply from the yacht club, which can be variable. That may well explain why it worked for 'someone' some time ago, but not for us the other day!
