delta 6.6 diesel /petrol repower or lpg?

Hi folks,I looking to repower a delta 6.6 outboard before, with a mercruiser dtronic diesel inboard or possibly a 140 omc/mercruiser inboard petrol, anybody running either engine in a similar sized boat and feedback on either?,before I make the decision and shell out the cash! is the 140 able to run lpg?
