50HP 4 stroke Johnson
hi all, i'm not a rib owner but value your expertise, can someone tell me how much a 50HP 4 stroke Johnson 2007 with 20 hours on it is worth. thankyou.

i'm looking to buy, its on a boat i'm looking at and so I can judge if the price of the boat is ok it would be nice to know what the engines worth, can't seem to find any info on newer johnsons, don't know when they stopped making them.

The newer 4 stroke Johnsons are basically Suzukis with a coat of Dulux white and a different badge on - it's just a badge engineering exercise. I think they have stopped making them now. Value of a Suz should be similar I should think?

Yes, Stephen's right. They also use the OMC/BRP control box.

Probably worth around £2700-£2900
