Hi all im trying to track down a fuel filter for this engine. on the side of the filter it has isuzu 5aa been to them but they cant help not enough numbers they say.Fed up with paying mercruiser prices for something that probably has a car equivalent.

Take it to a motor factor, basically all you need to match is the thread diameter/pitch and the O ring seal diameter (and there's often a bit of slack in what you can get away with on the seal). There aren't that many different filter threads - no more than half a dozen fit most engines. Can't see the threads but it looks a lot like a Land Rover Tdi filter (p/no AEU2147L), and they fit a lot of machines of all types.

That motor was used in vauxhalls aswell, astras & cavaliers etc. Reckon it could be one of these, only £8.16!
