Max numbers SR5.4 & Rcraft 585

Are any of you guys running either a coded...

Ribcraft 585 OR SR 5.4?

If so, could you tell me what the max number of bodies for each are (including skipper /crew etc)....

Am looking at one of these for poss contract, but may want to use them for other work too...

Any help appreciated

I think it would depend on the configuration of the boat rather than the manufacturers spec.
When we had our Humber 6m coded, the surveyor would only allow as many people as there were 'suitable' seats. Having people sitting on the tubes wasn't acceptable. As a result we can only carry 6 people (including crew) even though the stability test is for 14. To be fair it's pretty cosy even with 6!

Many thanks DDoc.....I asked a similar question on another thread (should have closed this one down) and there were quite a few responses re what had been coded /for how many.....

Interesting to see different surveyors approaches....
