How do you feed the steering wheel - when using one hand throttle and one hand wheel?

My Brother got me a water proof container for carrying flares. I now need to work out the best place to store it on the Rib.

I also must be getting a pass for a few overnights on the Rib from the wife, as my In Law's got me a wash bag that is the same make as my Ribbing gear, so obviously they have all to be used around the same time.
