Hello from Daniel! [was: New RIB]
Hi to all that know me.
Thought the title might get a few more viewing than "hello from daniel"
< Edit: Except I changed it! JK >
I dont have a new RIB, but i just logged in to catch up on things (and sell my old RI mags) and thought i would post a note to say hi to old friends.
Invites for cruises this summer most welcome
For those that dont know i have been busy setting up a new buisness www.realli-ski.com and am looking forward to a relaxing summer ahead of opening a 3rd ski centre in september.
By this time next year i hope to be looking for / commisioning a new RIB again ;-)
PS: it's my birthday today!

Happy Birthday - firstly..........
Your business venture looks superb, great idea, would have thought there would be an excellent market for that. Good luck with the expansion. Also your website is clear, precise, easy to read.
Well done.

That looks great. Even if you're not into skiing it's got to be better way to get fit than flogging away on a step machine!
Good luck
John
PS Where's the next one going to be? Brighton would be good (for me, anyway!)

Happy Birthday Dan! You know you're always welcome on Blue Ice, although we're not ribbing as much as we used to since Thomas arrived. Your new venture looks very exciting - good luck with it, and I reckon Reading would be a MUCH better location than Brighton.
Hope to see you soon - if you're up our way you know where we are so do pop in or give us a shout if you need a bed for the night. Say hi to Tappy if you're still in touch.

Hi Daniel,
Website looks great! I love your branding, very memorable.
Happy Birthday as well.
You're more than welcome on Sidewinder for any RibNet Cruises, may be good to get a taster before the Advanced course I will eventually sell you!
All The Best,
Jimbo

Hi guys,
Only just checked back in! thanks for all your kind words (sorry JK, brighton is not next on the list).
Congratulations R & L, i keep meaning to call and find out how you are. Michael (Tappy) still lives just round the corner and his wife Laura is expecting, due in a few weeks. please do give me a shout when you go RIBing with a spare seat... or better still sell me Blue Ice
NOS: with a fuel pump the engine ran faultlessly! I got in touch with the guy who gave me his electric pump but in the end i fitted a vacum pressure driven pump of a merc engine which worked a treat. Three hose connections and a couple of mounting bolts. Sold the engine on eBay to a guy with a matching pair who had blown one up - ideal! Still got the boat, but dont tell any RIBnetters. have bought a 200 v6 Mariner and hope to finish rigging it this w/end. Should be quick! Did you get an engine in the end? <edit> seen you boat, looks good. what you buying?
