If you don't want people to argue with you there are two generally useful bits of advice to stick to: 1). Stick to the topic of the thread. 2). Get your facts right.

Oh grow up! And whilst you're at it, stop talking shite. Accept that if you post misleading and incorrect information, someone will pull you up. And with the volume of poor quality information you post, you will get pulled up a lot. It's not personal attacks, it simply putting the record straight.

I notice you've used that cowardly little trick of posting a personal insult (and in this case a a great example of a "personal attack"!) then swiftly editing before the edit feature annotates the post. For the benefit of others, here's the original text form your post (from my email alert):

Terribly sorry you miserable git........

If you're not prepared to stand by your words, don't post them in the first place.

hahahahaha

I just read this thread right through, and it started off such a serious topic!

So annoying when all you want is one piece of information and things digress onto other subjects and end up in arguments! (adds a bit of life to forums though I suppose) lol

Personally I think as long as you're not insured anyway, whatever damage you do with a slightly over-rated engine you would face the same problems uninsured with the 'right sized' engine for the boat. so stick the bigger one on as long as you're sensible with it! - remember it all comes down to the person on the throttle that is in control at the end of the day!
