summer is almost over

Ive been busy this summer building some decking at my house

, had a week in the lakes with my rib which was ace.

I fancy a last fling before i winterise the Motor.

Any of you little ribbers, big ribbers and sibbers fancy a fling maybe lymington, Bournmouth Poole, weymouth.

any suggestions?

lymington is prob easiest for us 2 hrs ,others are 4 hr drive ,lunch in Yarmouth again sounds good.

Well, between you and me that only seems to leave w/e 29th/30th Sept, don't know how any one else is fixed,camping or day trip ?weather /tides will have to wait till nearer the time . It seems to be very hard to sort out any compatable dates to do any thing with any body these days .

Had new boat out a few times, very pleased with it.

I'm up for it - would be in the little RIB I think . I have a week off work 24th -28th Sept so thats a good time for me ( weekends either side ) , but reckon I can pretty much any time now I am leading my new single life

I am planning a trip (by land) to the boat show on Sunday 23rd ....to buy who knows what next !

Lets not forget Sept can be great .....attached pic was taken on 30th Sept last year and I was out in shorts and a t-shirt !

And there is always the Jolly to the Folly some time in Dec ( usually ? ) and of course the Nacho run in Jan ! ( but they tend to be cold , very very very cold - but awesome days on the water )
