southend pier/thames,medway, whitstable area.

ne1 know if you can tie up at the pier and if so how long for and can you get off the boat?
If this is not possible any suggestions of places to go to where you can tie up and get off without worrying about losing the tide i.e beaches etc.
regards

Hi

You can tie up at the end of Southend pier and leave the boat for a short while, its all states of tide and does not dry right at the end.
There isn't that much at the end of the pier except for a pub/resturant and toilets and of course the RNLI station.
