Hey guys & girls,
Its seems theres alot of people keen to get afloat. Is this the winter blues being shaken out or what.

I would have liked to come on down, but other commitments prevent. Have one for me.

However I will be down in Pompey the weekend after for some large scale ribbing. Staying on HMS Bristol and i'm planning a nitex for saturday as well.

Have fun and enjoy.

Tim'mers.

If any of the mid solent/west solent people want to get hold of me, send me an email from the forum (my PM box is always on the limit of being full!) and I'll send my mob number.

Perhaps getting the west solent lot to join us at calshot would be a good idea. That way if we go to cowes they are already most of the way there and if we go to my local in yarmouth then they get a bit more of a blast than just across the solent!

Anyone else launching from Hythe? Zippy?

Cheers

Tim

Agree Tim

Hopefully Chris sees this and rounds up his group to steam up to Calshot to meet us.

Can't remember why but think Howard's in at Pompey. He may change his mind although all went well on the dry run today !

Minor change of plan for us

Due to the fact that the boat is having an engine service this week, we will be collecting it first thing Saturday (hopefully!) from Portsmouth and launching at Camber Dock instead of Chichester.

As we've never launched at Camber before, any tips?

Make sure the back of the boat is closest to the water and you should be Ok

It's a very wide hard surface slipway with a good andle going into deep water!

How many of the Mid Solent group are launching ? let me know as Daniel wants to launch from our yard so if you want we can drop you all in the water Saturday AM! the Tides say it could all happen nicely between 09:30 and 10:45 which gives lots of time to get to Calshott

You can probably leave your cars and trailer in our yard also just this once!
