BBQ

Will post names here if I get round to it...

Accomodation at the shebeen (never the best anyway) is stretched to breaking point but if someone falls asleep under a table that's no problem
Unless it's Manning who will need an exclusion zone because of the well documented after effects of the demon drink on his delicate systems...

I am hoping to go and collect her tomorrow...fingers crossed. If thats the case then I will have all day friday to get her sorted and ready for a day out (bunting, flags, parasols for the laydeez, you know the sort of thing).
Depending on the weather I may chuck her in at Northney or somewhere a bit nearer if needs be.
Where are most others launching/recovering?
I am quite flexible (oo er) and willing to turn up to lend a hand where required.

Havent really decided on a name yet...thought 'tifino' was better than TBA. but then...hmmm. will have to ask the kids to name it but they will only suggest something to do with bananas.

Oh and the weather for the weekend........emotional.

On Saturday, don't forget that the "Black Jack" buoy marks the northern limit of the "area of concern" (big ships have difficulty manoeuvering around the Bramble Bank) and they have a moving exclusion zone extending 1000m ahead and 200m to the side of them.

There's also powerboat and RIB racing based at Warsash Sat and Sun.

Well, I've good news and bad news for you.

The good news is that Richard B assured me yesterday's weather was going to be even better than Tuesday's and so we went out in the boat. In fact it was much worse - lots of horrible thick fog and some drizzle. No sunshine to be seen, which goes to prove that he is often totally wrong about the weather.

The bad news, though, is that the Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for Friday and Saturday, forecasting gales and storms, especially in the south, gusting up to force 9 / 70mph.

(Sorry Ian.)

Sunday may be OK???

We were going to

wait till near as possible to Sat for the most accurate weather forecast possible.

And only make cancellation announcements if /when we are really sure it's appropriate...

Trying desperately not to rain on the parade!!!!

Still Considering???

Will consider until about 0930 on Saturday - weather crappy = stay in bed.

Weather not too crappy = put boat in water and get to calshot for 1100.

Good news Daniel!!!the oul weather fronts can change their minds...looking like at least a 4/5 am ...perhaps 6 to gale 8 later; dry early, showers later...AT THE MOMENT!!! 24hr forecast should be helpful...

It will be great to see ye in the evening but we're boring oul farts...!!!there's a rumour that someone is going to bring his shiny new laptop in the hopes that one of the IT Nuts can show him how to switch it on, use html etc. etc. so that might keep a few of you busy for a while!!!!!!!!

K
(Oul Black Jack is a veggie as well but I think he has a secret chicken habit!!!)
