The bag is packed, did I mention she would be coming!?
Look forward to it. Plenty of warm sunshine this time please, and no pink paint!
I hear Phil & Philip will be attending.

Well, there is a special arrival which will need to be taken into consideration, but if it's anything like the Solent cruises we've done in the past it could be anywhere. Favourites have been Cowes and Yarmouth but other suggestions would be welcome.

Lee on The Solent ...unless it's a rough state and then either Warsash or Haslar.
Are you thinking of coming out Suzuki?

Suzuki - when you say 'putting in' do you mean 'stopping off' or 'recovering from'? My reply above is based on the former but I think the Jackeens are talking about where they will recover.

Putting in!

Louise,

I'm considering a spin, but I do need to do a check out trip first on the Thames. I'll know this weekend as I pick up my 'new' tow vehicle - Suzuki Grand Vitara - on Saturday & will test the boat on Sunday.

I've got a new prop on it & I'm a little concerned about the clearance of it

However I was wondering where you were putting the boat into the water at the start of the day.

Pete

In that case, ignore what I said. The Jackeens will probably launch at one of the places they have mentioned (unless their boat is already in the water). Our boat will already be on the water as it is craned in.

HTH & hope to see you!

Hi Louise...we were talking about putting in (which is what Suzuki asked !!!) or launching...

Does that mean Blue Ice is a definite?

Hope so!!!

I know that now - sorry - having a blonde day!

Still not sure whether we're speaking to you, what with being relegated from bed to sofa and now doorstep! But I think Blue Ice will be on the water - although we might ignore you!!!

Sofa was and always will be a euphemism for premier accomodation at the shebeen.

You are in danger of being relegated to the (garden) bench though.

Anyway it takes ye bloomin 3 hours to come down from your launch site

And proud of it!

Actually, I'm trying to make it all the way down to your lovely hut at the end of the garden - although, on second thoughts, maybe I'll wait 'til summer to try out that facility!

Shall we declare a truce?
