I offered as well at the beginning. Glad to know us 'oldies' have our uses. I could offer on the West.

I'm interested

BOAT LENGTH:3.8 Honwave OR Smartwave 4.9
ENGINE SIZE:10/60
LAUNCH: CARRY/Trailer
NO OF PEOPLE:2 - 4
PREFERRED AREA(S):NORTH ARGYLL (Oban)
PREFERRED MONTH(S): MAY
PREFERRED OVERNIGHT: WILD CAMPING / B&Bs

If I bring the Smartwave centre console/60 Mariner Efi, I could act as a safety boat for the smaller SIB's and/or take someone that is temp unable to take their rig along

Mike

Anyone on the east coast Montrose & Aberdeen areas need a space as a passenger get in touch.

Erm, I know I'm new and possibly going to upset someone saying this (not intended) It's meant without the risk of sounding rude...
Isn't this supposed to be a bit of an informal gathering of like minded sibbers having a few days toddling about, rather than a mass expedition of ocean liners

If you can think of a sound reason for not having a handy supply of:

1. Extra Beer
2. Extra Fuel
3. Handy tow lines

Then I for one, would be fascinated to hear it...

You'll not upset anyone, the big boys are just worried they are missing a party;-)

If we end up trying something more adventurous or in poor conditions I'm sure their support will be welcome, but part of the adventure is aiming to be self sufficient.

I know sib's aren't that big, but I think i can manage enough fuel, beer, water, food etc for a few days...
Like I say, i'm not meaning to offend... Just as quoted "Self Sufficient" makes it all a little more fun.
