Ok I'm in for this one. Planning to travel from Poole to Cowes for Saturday, berth booked in haven. Stay in Cowes overnight and link up off Wootton Creek on the 29th. I'll add my name to the list. See you on the 29th.

only a few weeks away so starting to think about raising money! Last year was great and it can only get better this year. Earlier this year we sold our rib to another ribnet member here and now have a Regal bowrider, which the young family enjoy and all working out well so far. So... I hope we are still welcome to join the cruise (despite being tubeless!). I have a crew of 4 and they are all digging deep with work, friends, neighbours and suppliers to raise as much as we can.

Is anyone ordering a batch of McMillan flags, if so can you add me down for one please

Looking forward to it and hope the weather is as good as this weekend!!!

You're more than welcome dude. I think David Dodd has done the same although I think it's a bit bigger than a bowrider.

Let us know what you are doing re fund raising

Does anyone know if there's somewhere close to Calshot I'll be able to fill my 20l plastic fuel can? I plan to go out on the Sat, but want to start the run on Sun with a full tank. So many places will only let you fill a single 5l can - I think I'll use more than that on the Sat!

RIBase
Leave it in your boot and just top it up, most garages local to the sea have no issues with fuel. I've been boating for over 25 years and never had a problem

Thanks chaps, that's good to know. With so many petrol stations being run by the major multiples / main fuel co.s who are anal about what's "allowed" I didn't want there to be a problem. I don't like paying fuel barge prices either.
