Meetng

Nice idea, West Wales is a good venue.
No Solent double tides, good B&B and good coast to explore.
Whatever I would certainly consider it.
Dave

ps West Wales (Pembrokeshire) is 100 miles WEST of Cardiff. The M4 stops about 20 miles from the most beautiful place in the UK.

MASS MEETING 2003

I think that this Mass meeting needs some serious organisation as I believe that if someone doesnt take firm control of it it will just go into the archives.

We need someone to decide the Location(which will never suit every one) and Dates that are far enough ahead that people can plan (and again wont suit everyone) And a person with experance and organisation skills.............

I THINK CHARLES IS THE PERFECT GUY FOR THE JOB, if the accepts the challange??????

I THINK IT SHOULD BE NEAR PLYMOUTH also......(west of it please)

I THINK IT SHOULD BE HELD AROUND MAY

So lets get this Meeting going and all meet up for a bit of Ribbing, drinking, talking and Laughing.

Organiser

If anyone has any serious reservations with regards to me co-ordinating this event, please speak now -- or forever hold you peace! I will give everyone an opportunity to place their comments on this thread by next Friday 29 November 2002, after that I will start a new thread exclusively dedicated to this inaugural RIB.NET INFLATABLE CONFERENCE week-end

Charles,
As a "local" to Plymouth, I offer you my services as a local leg-man and general factotum.
(Having just re-read what I have written, I make myself sound like a sex-starved member of the Italian Army)
Anything I can do to help, pl. let me know.

Well as the person who kicked off the idea I am happy for anyone to take over and organise it. Just name the time date and place and I'll be there. Go ahead Charles.

What about Falmouth?
Lots of room, all facilities (Marina/accomodation and drink), lots to see, good cruising area, fascinating coastline, etc etc

Too Far West!

For a weekend, Plymouth is about as far west as is practicably driveable for anyone in Sarf or East England. Falmouth is a wonderful place but too far away IMHO. In fact probably quicker by sea from Plymouth in a RIB than by road!

Only problem with Brian being local leg man is that everytime he has organised a cruise in the SW the weather has been terrible!
