Just did another long trip. This time from Trondheim to Stryn, to go skiiing.
During this trip, we had to cross two of the worst places along the Norwegian coast, Stad and Hustadvika.

Tallest waves were in the 4-5 meter range around Stad, on our way south. This was during the night and is not something which I'll repeat

Great video, thank you

I thought the bit which traced the route was really useful.....is this an easy effect to do? I was sort of hoping to use something similar for the tidal flow work we have been doing lately.....a line tracking our drift, accelerating and decelerating as we do.....having said all that, I am a bit uselss when it comes to computers, so may be beyond me anyway

Oh, and I love your Goldfish, what a fantastic bit of kit!

Great bit of video editing there

I'm planning to do a similar super-fast-forward thing of the river Seine when I go back to Paris

You're still planning on taking it all the way then?

It's not hard to do, if you have the right programs. I used Final Cut Studio on my Mac.
Then I followed this tutorial:
Apple Motion Tutorials | Create animated color line on a map

Thanks for the nice comments!

Going to buy some extra batteries and a battery pack for my GoPro, so it won't go black on me during a trip. Also looking at some better equipment for taking pictures and filming. It's more fun to put together a movie if one has some really good material to work with...

Did another video, this time just outside the coast of Trondheim. Decided to have dinner at an island, Hitra, instead of eating at home.
