Unfortunately the weather has changed it seems. Sunny and wonderfull in the UK and in Greece (where I'll be for the next 4 days) is CRAP (llooking crappier) gale force 8-9, 3 deg C and stormy rain crap, crap, crap

Photos taken from some model rocks
Sure is the Ribnet burgee flying from my aerial - looks great btw!
A really lovely week-end weather-wise in our part of the world.

Received a call from Paul Lemmer early Sunday morning to let me know he is going to meet me between Alderney and Jsy at some stage during the day. Whilst at the Ecrehous he rang again saying they had problems with their VHF and the departure time was delayed somewhat. At about 12:30 he rang from Alderney !!!?? - They had blasted across the Channel from Yarmouth to Alderney in a Techno 42 in 1.5 hrs. They were having lunch and were going straight back again These are the engines of this Rib

Fabio Buzzi designed and built.
How much?
Lots - 160,000.00
Would you have one?
Cannot afford it
Why? Why not?
Simple - have not got that sort of money.
Pluses and minuses please.
Here's another picture, you decide.

If you want to get places, FAST, in comfort, with minimal mod-cons and have oodles of money lying about, maybe you can get one Brian? I reckon they will supply an ash-tray!

That's roger Fletchers old 40' not a 42' early to mid 90's I think as it ran in the 96 cherbourg run when still owned by FB,
I'd be surprised if he paid 160 large for it as roger had it advertised for 100k last year!
It has the race/endurance motors in it (biturbo) most I think only had the pleasureboat single turbo's with a bit less ooomph.
That is one romping rib!runs best part of 100mph, good old FB!
Manos says they're best left in the marina though where they can look good.
