To finish off this adventure..I headed up the Sound of Kerrera .. just to complete the circumnavigation of the Island.

I slowed to displacement speed so as not to rock the guys standing in their fishing boat. I can never understand why many anglers seem to prefer standing in small boats.. but I guess they know what they are doing.

Then I slowed to a crawl to allow the small Kerrera ferry to cross the sound in front of me. I always give the commercial boats a wide berth..for them.. time is money... For me.. time .. is for my enjoyment.

Then I sauntered into Oban bay.. keeping a close eye out for the Cal Mac ferries ..they donítseem to care about anyone .. time nor tide.. they are the masters of the bay..so donít get in their way.

After a good nosey around..I returned to Ganavan Bay.. recovered my boat ..then parked the rig in Tescos car park to get myself a fish supper from the Pier chipper.

I happily watched the Oban folks going about their business as I ate my haddock and chips.....

And stayed ... reflecting on my day... until the sun started to set ...

Before leaving for home... a very happy man .. with another enjoyable adventure under my belt.

The end of my Easing into Easdale tale. Thanks for reading about it.

Thanks Jeff..the west is well known for its beautiful sunsets.. here is another setting sun over Ailsa Craig. Its a volcanic plug that lies 10 miles off the Ayrshire coast

Ailsa Craig is without doubt the most interesting Island I have ever explored. Watch out for that adventure soon.. you will have to excuse me though.. I didnít visit it by either SIB or RIB ..but my little hardshell.... hardly bigger than a coracle ..but where is the fun in going to sea in a ship ?

Although i was standing for this poser photo..at least I had a buoyancy aid on :-D

Catch you all in the next adventure ...
