It's not that hilux are bad cars just pickups in general don't make good tow vehicles
They achieve there tow rating fully loaded & are a Totaly different animal with 1000kg over the rear axle hang...

Gotta agree with pd pickups are not good tow vehicles we have a hilux hl3 3.0 & an old 270cdi merc ml & the merc is far better at towing the hilux suspension is just too hard &shakes you to bits with...
