Zodiac Pro 420 help

Hi guys,

I have just purchased a Zodiac Pro 420 RIB (used). I am completely new to Ribbing but took it out today in Tuckton in Bournemouth and had the best fun:

Can anyone point me to where I can get a cheapish cover as when I search Google I’m seeing silly prices.

Also, I am exploring any detachable / removable additional seating solutions so if anyone has any suggestions I would be hugely grateful,

Welcome to the forum.

Can't help you with the cover, but I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction.

The Pro 420 used to ship with console and rear bench seat, although I've seen one with a jockey seat set up. There's not actually that much space for anything else. If you were fiitting detatchable or removeable seating, then the integrity of the deck fasteners would be a priority, as self tappers just won't cut it.

I fitted a bow cushion on mine, not for underway, but for fishing.

Anyway enjoy, they're good boats.

I asked for few quotes for bespoke cover for my rib and the prices are ranging between £500 and £1000. I will go for a cheaper one as cannot justify 100% difference, but still a good investment to do, would never leave a rib uncovered, it will cost much more in a long term.

Nothing wrong with them, they last 2-3 seasons.
