Really enjoyed Harry's latest as it echoed my early days (child to 20s) chugging about the coast and over the channel in wooden boats that would rarely top 8kts.

A real bonus to meet and chat with Harry today at Boatlife, such a nice guy and certainly made my day!

….and great to see Goodwin in the flesh at the show in its latest guise with spanking new tubes and a Suzuki motor!

Tubes courtesy of Ryan at Ribworkz and a quality job it looks too….as expected from a chap who learnt his craft at Henshaws and Ribcraft.

Harry and Ryan kindly posed with Goodwin for a quick pic today at the show.

Harry posted a clip of Goodwin on Instagram but covered part of the boat up with a title....but what I did notice was the change of motor and an orange bow dodger..then I noticed the orange stripe and the penny dropped...I sent a message to Harry and he just sent a message back saying spoiler Alert.....he was busted.
The boat was ready for new tubes but I guess some will say he should have kept it as it was....I won't be one of them though.
Looking forward to going on Saturday.
Thanks for the pictures......nice chap is he not!

What fun Chipko. Harry does seem a great chilled guy which for me is half the enjoyment of his videos.

Looking forward to seeing Goodwin at the show tomorrow, hopefully catch Harry!

New tubes look great, shame to ditch the old ones but the rest of the boat was hardly original LOL

Berridale Harbour, what a stop-over.

Banff slipway, great harbour but the new slip is far too shallow.

Lovely place.

Thanks for the heads up Max. Harry's videos are always enjoyable, he's managed to find a great balance of them feeling relaxed but always interesting. Won't be too long before he gets to the next area we know well... the Wash to the Thames estuary.

It's an epic adventure for sure and breaking it down over a few years likes this makes it all the more memorable and enjoyable I'm sure.
