Prop size

Hi I`ve got a 9mtr Solent Rib with a Mercury 300hp Verado.
Currentlly running with a 14.5" x 19" 3 blade michigan prop.
Its very quick of the mark and acheives 56mph at 6350rpm. We tried a 21" pitch, wouldn`t get to max revs. We feel we are almost on the money but still feel we need to up to the level, maybe slightly larger diameter perhaps or different blade configuration
Can anyone please advise/
Allen
