Oh no.... not another Searider refurb

4 Mtr Searider hull that's been sitting in my yard for who knows how long so thought I'd get it on the go.
A small repair on the back end where it had seen some extreme beach action.

I've done the hull in a Military Grey colour which should match up nicely with a black tube.

I'm sure Ed won't mind me hijacking his thread to post a few recent pics of the fantastic work he has done on the SR4...

Hopefully picking it up on Thursday and taking it back to france where we will fit it out with a new 50hp Mariner two stroke and all the other bits and pieces to go with it.

Ed has had the patience of a saint as trying to coordinate a build for someone living abroad was never going to be easy.

Cheers Ed

Now you need to bring that down to the Helford when there's a Southerly swell running in. 16ft of air according to independant reports. Get it right and they come back down as soft as a feather.

And if you get it wrong...?

What you cant see in the pics is the 90ltr internal fuel (ballast) tank built into the console. Should hopefully keep the nose down a bit especially since the console is pushed as far forward as practical.

Wow, the Helford river....last time i was there i was wakeboarding behind a 3 tonne 350hp aluminium jet drive rescue craft in the middle of January. good times and a lovely part of the country indeed .

Thanks to you and DHD btw for all the advice...much appreciated as im sure you know.

Simon
