Sorry chaps, but AOL can't find the web page no matter how many times I reload - now it might be my American (!!!) firewall that's at fault.

Never mind, forecast looks okay tomorrow so I think a wee blast out in the Clyde is called for.

Web Site Problem

Just talked to my website manager. The server that our site is hosted on is experiencing some sort of problem at the moment.

Site should be back in action tomorrow morning!

With the sudden abundance of Irish members we need to organise a cruise to visit them in the summer so they can show us where to get good Guinness

Who's up for it!

Cead Měle Fŕilte

Now there is a good idea! Yous are welcome over here anytime! Can i respectfully suggest the sw coast around kinsale, baltimore, schull direction. Bit of a spin but worth it. Never mind the Guinness what about the Murphys down this neck of the woods. when in Rome and all that!
There was talk of a fund raiser on another thread going around the Fastnet which is only a wee bit further than Kinsale but closer to Baltimore and Schull. Any Ideas?

Yep as Oisre already said, down here we only drink Murphys, it all started in Cork!!

Sounds good, Baltimore is my home for the Summer so I'll have no problems showing ye around. You can't come the whole way over and not head out to the Fastnet either, especially if it's blowing up a bit !!

Boat Speed

Sorry Steve only just remembered that I hadn't answered your question from a few days ago.

With 4 people on board and 70 gallons of Diesel the boat speed is 42-43 knots!!

Oisre, will have to get over to Kinsale for a few at some stage, all right. The college assignments are being piled up at the moment so I tend to be kept busy most wkends. Managed to get out for a quick blast on Saturday in between work and assignments which was a rare occurence roll on the Summer!!

Joe, thats what I thought you said allright. They are some figures for a diesel!! I'm guessing the added load of a full tank and 4 bodies didn't have much of an effect on the top-end with so much torque!! She'll make a great cruising RIB and sounded sweet when ye took off the other day.

Was the engine a Yam 421 (240hp)?
