We haven't finished with the ropes yet. Just pondering if my 2.32 bow rope to boat length ratio breaches RYA guidance. Coiling on the foredeck always gives the Mrs a job.

Is it acceptable to have a caribiner on the end, or should it be just a free end?[emoji848]

Totally agree with Max on Painter, but you can't have enough rope - securely coiled and stowed!

Hi Fenlander - re mooring rope ‘expensive and soft’ - can you say what this is so I can get 60’. Just taken my Honwave T32 out for the first time…on Ullswater and needed more rope than the painter supplied. Thanks for your thoughts

I live 15mins from an inland chandlers. I always go and feel the ropes I want for how they feel in the hand and how they "flop". So I don't have a brand or supplier I could link to.
