Itchenor?
I need to get to West Wittering beach on Sunday. I was thinking of taking the RIB to Itchenor Sailing Club, leaving it there, and getting a taxi round. Has anyone used their pontoons? Thanks.

There are no visitors' moorings at the yacht club as far as I know, but there are Harbour Conservancy visitors' moorings at Itchenor.

Don't know how much the taxi would cost though. How about taking an inflatable and beaching it on East Head then strolling round to West Wittering?

We have anchored off the beach at West Wittering before now and walked ashore. The ground is flat sand.
