It Works!!!!!

Well launch dat today. 6.30am at Brixham harbour and I slid her into the water. The engine started first turn and there was no back wash from the cut down transom . Wnet and recovered the shot with 2 divers, cruising to the wreck at 25knts. All went well with no problems.

At 10.30am the rest of the dive clubarrived with the club RIBs and we made our to Slapton (though I did stop for a photo shoot with Rupert (who will hopefully post some pics for me ). Caught up the other 2 RIBS at 35knots and spent the day on the beach at Slapton. The wind had droppped by the time we left which gave me some flat(ish ) water to see how fast I could go. I hit 47knots but the sea was too rough so I had back off. I reckon I shouild be able to hit 50knots on calm day .

So there we go all safe the RIB stored away and me knackered from a full days boating ( I thought it was meant to be a relaxing hobbie this boating lark )

All thats left is for Rupert to post some pics.

Much nicer time of day 10:30am and not 6:30am just shouldn't be alowed on a Sunday.

Great to see, Paul. Must feel great to transform from a project to getting out on the water.
